Dano just sent me an email about a tractor for sale, and I told him I’d put it out for our non email members: 2009 John Deere 3038 with loader and 60hrs on it, asking $15,000. Important news: We started a new membership book, and we will start using it to send letters from. If anyone missed the show and wants to keep being a member let me know and I’ll add you to my list of letters. Our member book was falling apart and we are sure outdated, so we decided to start fresh

I don’t have any figures on the show but talking with the various food booths and members it seems like everyone was happy and doing a good business, it may not have been the blockbuster of last year’s show but we still did a good job and people seemed happy. I think I heard Friday night we had over 200 tractors and over 30 lawn tractors on the grounds. I have to say, being at the Cornfestival and talking with people there, we must be doing something right because so many people were looking forward to our show and the liking the job we’re doing, and then we had a few people join and want to take membership forms to friends of theirs as well. I can’t think of better advertising than that for us and the job we’re doing

In regards to the last newsletter, the club decided to sponsor Kyle Flynn in his senior project of overhauling his A by buying a part or two for him, so his winter break from school is probably going to be spent in the shop J
